Hey guys, I currently have a CM 690 II Advanced, and while it's served me well, I feel like it's getting a bit outdated. The front audio ports do not work, and there are also no easily removable magnetic dust filters, no USB 3.0 and no grommets (although cable management is very nice on it).

I want to switch things up a bit and go for a white case. I am currently looking at the Corsair 600T White Edition, the NZXT Phantom 630 (can't seem to find the 530) and the CM Storm Stryker. I don't have a lot of experience with cases since I've done around 5 builds in my 690 II Advanced. I'd appreciate some input on which case I should get and why (feel free to suggest other cases I have not mentioned). Thanks!

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

A budget would help like CoolBeans said what kind of price range are you looking at

I'm trying to keep it around $150-160 USD, and as I mentioned I want a white case. I'm probably not going to be watercooling this time around, but support for a Corsair H100i would be nice, maybe even support for the new Swiftech H320 coming out soon. I would also like to ask whether or not a full tower like the Storm Stryker is worth it compared to the 600T. Is the extra space going to help that much with cable management and airflow? And also do full towers tend to just be a lot taller than mid towers? Because I'm fine with a really tall case, but if it's too long then it won't fit on my desk.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I would personally go 600T. It looks smoother.

How much bigger is the Storm Stryker than the 600T? If it's too big length-wise then I'll just get the 600T. Even though it's not a full tower...

The Stryker is less than .5" longer, 1" narrower, and 2" taller than the 600T.

Oh okay thanks :) I have never seen or purchased a full tower before so I'm really worried that it will be too big for my desk. As mentioned I currently have a CM 690 II Advanced, also by Cooler Master. There is around 1 hand's length (not width) left on my desk when the 690 II is on it. Will the Storm Stryker fit?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Yes it will. The Stryker is only about 3" longer.

I find the 600T from those 3 is the most "simple" looking, you achieve very clean builds with it.

THen how come everyone keeps talking about how much larger full towers are :O Or is it because the Stryker is significantly taller?

It's mostly height.

If I may be so bold to suggest the CM Stryker http://www.cmstorm.com/en/products/chassis/Stryker/

If it's black you're after, try the CM Storm Trooper (It's a black Stryker without the side panel window).

I think full tower is the way to go anyway if you have a place for it.

Intel 4770k@4.6GHz, ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero, Kingston HyperX Beast 2x8GB 2400MHz CL11, Gigabyte GTX 1070 Gaming, Kingston HyperX 3k 240GB - RAID0 (2x120Gb), 2xWD 1TB (Blue and Green), Corsair H100i, Corsair AX860, CoolerMaster HAF X, ASUS STRIX Tactic pro, Logitech G400S, HyperX Cloud II, Logitech X530, Acer Predator X34.

Lol please reread the post, I want a white case :) anyways is the stryker worth it for air cooling/closed loop water cooling or should i just get the 600t?

Lol, I read the post the first time, I'm just offering you an alternative. How else would you know there's a case called storm trooper :P

Well, basically any full tower case today is closed-loop ready, so is the stryker, no worries there.

I love what Linus did in one of his builds with the CM Storm Scout II, removing the top cover so the 240mm radiator is exposed, I found that to be uber-cool (the punmaster C strikes again).

I think it's at the point where it's simply personal preference. If you want a very clean looking, simple case that has a lot of nice features, go with the Corsair 600t. If you are looking for a nice sized case that can fit some good sized motherboards, have a lot of room for expansion and you may use it for LAN possibly, go with the Cooler Master Storm Stryker. I would personally go with the Stryker because I think it is the most future proof case out of the cases you listed. So if you want to do 5 more builds in this case as well, you can! I also like the previous suggestion of the Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 in white. I think that would be the best happy medium between the Stryker and the 600t due to the size and simplicity like the 600t and some of the newer features and style of the Stryker. Hope this helps!

The Scout really doesn't seem like the right case for me as I don't like its design. I'm sure it's still a great case to work with though. Am I also right in saying that the 600T is bigger than the Scout 2? And also if I don't do custom water cooling, will my parts look stupidly tiny inside the Storm Stryker?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
