After about 30 mins of 1080p gaming my computer either crashes or turns off (not sure which). from that point you can not turn it back on without turning off the psu and waiting for the power to be drained from the system then turn the psu back on.Then turn on pc

My specs are

1 sapphire R9 270x toxic edition
1 amd fx 8350
1 ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0
1 cooler master 240m radiator 2 fans
1 wd green hard drive 7200rpm
1 650W Cooler Master V-Series

2 case fans

I have checked temps gpu max load is around 50-55 degrees celsuis and cpu.

also i have done benchmarks and these have not caused it to crash.

I would check on the web site for your motherboard and make sure you have the most uptodate bios for the cpu you are using. Have you installed anything recently that could be making this happen ? Try system restore and restore to a previous date and then see if the problem persists and then you will know if that the problem was a installed program ect. Also make sure windows is date is up to date ect. Looks like you need to do some troubleshooting to find the issue.

can you do a fresh install? It sound like there is a driver clash somewhere and a fresh install should help solve that

Check integrity of the games files if it is steam version.

Turn down overclock of the 270x if it is overclocked, or up the voltage for stability.

Turn it off then on again.
