Hi guys,

What do AMD crossfire profiles do, and how can you know which profiles to try for if the game you are running doesn't have a profile?

What are the best settings?

For example Shadow of Mordor ran better with Lost Planet 2 profile, than its default, before it was optimized again.

Lurk more in forums like Guru3D/OCN, Witcher 3 works best with Sleeping Dogs profile and you need to disable ingame AA and water simulation.

I'm more concerned with GTA V actually. But was just wondering in General. People actually just try out the whole list, before they know which is best?

I have no luck with my crossfire on GTA V I ended up disabling the Crossfire to just use one card, Turning on crossfire makes my FPS worse no matter what I try...

Will try this when I get home.

As I see it, R7 260x handles this game Okay.

So basically a HD 6970 should be able to do the same or better, I guess.

GTA:V got it's own profile right? Did you play in Borderless mode?

Well it was FULL SCREEN. I do know that crossfire doesn't Work unless you run games in full screen.

the 15.4 made my fps go from 40-50 to 15-25. So I rolled back to 14.6 (i think) Omega driver.

Funny enough, when I drive around with 1.st person view, almost no lags, Little stuttering, fps on 45-70

playing it in 3.rd person, i get drops Down to 23 fps. :o So strange. I've tried installing on faster hard drives too. Didn't help.

It shouldn't be required to have GTA V on SSD right?

Try this latest unofficial Beta driver, usually it come with latest CFX profile and fixes. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=399595

Make sure you use Display Driver Uninstaller prior to installation.

Tried this, I think it Works more stable than the previous omega driver, but haven't tried out the new 1.55 Beta driver yet, so i might do that too. They might've improved GTA performance too, even though the driver is targetted for the witcher.
