Looking to buy an ebook reader - Any recommendations?

I've been wanting to read a few books for a while now without straining my eyes much. I hear that e-ink is more easier on the eyes than an lcd backlit screen, though I'm not quite sure if this is either a myth or fact.

 

I want an ebook reader that is big (at least bigger than 6') with an e-ink display, assuming e-ink truly is healthier for the eyes. As for my price range, I'd be satisfied with something around $100 (am willing to buy used/refurbished).

Go for either a Kobo or a Kindle...

 

Tried both of them and enjoyed the Kobo more... I think there's a Kobo with expandable memory...
