so i found a 

Samsung SyncMaster 226BW and wanted to know if it was any good ?

It's fine. You should use it as a second (or third or whatever) monitor. :)

A quick google search shows it has 5 eggs on newegg with 1,514 reviews ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001096), so its doing something right. OOO and according to the newegg page, it is vista certified, so you're golden.

Well, it's a TN panel that isn't 1080p... I'd say it's still good but it would depend on if and what you intend to use it for.

it's ok.. just a cheap monitor.. nothing wrong with it but won't be spectacular at anything

i would say gaming since its a gaming pc im going to use it on but tbh it'll mostly be video watching and if i do end up gaming ill be more then happy to just play at 720p (please no hate i just dont need the best looking game play to enjoy the game)
