Corsair Preapplied Thermal Paste safe for GPUs?

I'm going to put an H55 on my GPU, is the stock paste conductive or would it be fine to put on a GPU? I couldn't really find any info about the paste that comes preapplied.

I am sure it's fine, but you might want to swap it out anyway if you have some other thermal paste laying around. Chances are it will be better for temps.

It might end up being a mess. I personally removed the dried on stuff and applied my own paste for my 290s, just in case the corsair AIO Paste was conductive (not likely).

All GPUs come with pre-applied paste, if it really bothers you, you could replace it with branded paste like Arctic silver 5 ect.

But yes it will be fine :P

IF you notice strange temps like 80/90 then usually the best thing to do is replace it with a branded paste.

It's not conductive, i believe it's Shin etsu or another OEM similar, its actually pretty nice quality like, really good, for me tho, i dont care what paste it is, i need the comfort that i personally applied a correct amount of fresh TIM and i think the stock one, as good as it is thermal wise, may dry out a lot faster for the constant air exposure (Who knows how long they sat on a shelf) Just put any decent paste and you'll be fine, nowadays, almost all high end ones are not conductive.

I would replace it simply because it may not cover enough surface area on a GPU die.

The thermal paste on Corsair AIO is from Dow Corning. Better than most thermal paste you can buy.
