Care to tell us what model it is?...

 

 

So I just got my new sell xps with the infinity display

It's the i5 256 ssd 8 gb ram variant.

Is it the xps 12? xps 13? xps 15? etc...

Haha I'm sorry, it's the 13 2015 edition.

K... Is it the 4k model or the 1080p model?  My mom has the 1080p model and video is smooth as butter.

Hmm, well, the xps 13 isn't a very thick or large laptop, so I'd expect that the cooling would be somewhat poo ish on it, what temps are you getting when streaming video and such?

Also what browser are you using for video streaming? (If it has an option to, try turning on/off hardware acceleration. [turn it on if its off, and off if its on])

are you on power saving mode?

I5 5200u and idk, is that a real thing?

i mean mistakes always happen. maybe contact dell and get a return. how much did you spend on the laptop

you might have it on power saver, try clicking on the batery icon in the task bar and chANGE IT TO BALANCED
