So this will be my first build i am on a budget its going to be my gaming desktop at college

my budget is the $1500 Range CAN but this include a Monitor

this desktop will be for the most part gaming with the odd amount of 3d modelling such as solidworks or catia

I do have a couple request if possible to fit in I would like a i7 just because 3d modelling software runs better on it and i dont mind if its not oc compatible

Lastly would a case like the bitfenix pandora be good because i was looking at the 900 series gtx gigabyte g1's

The Games I would be playing are games like assetto corsa, project cars, arma 3, war thunder, gta 5 and other games such as those listed.

Thanks for any help in advance

The Pandora is an okay case. If you like its looks there is nothing wrong choosing it. However, the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 is too tall for the case. In fact most higher-end gpu are too tall. The case is also fairly restrictive when it comes to cpu coolers.

The Xeon in this build is essentially an i7 without integrated graphics. It is a bit less expensive and that helps with the budget.

The build could be brought under budget going with the Cooler Master N200 case instead of the Pandora.
