Hi

So i watched Linus' Build log for one of their previous tech builds:

It shows a workstation that he built and ran, using two different GPU's a Quadro 4000 and a GeForce GTX 780.

I was wondering if that would work in my case (program compatability aside).

I have a Asus pP9X79 Pro motherboard with a Core i7 3930K, currently using a Quadro K4000.

Could i add another GPU such as a GTX 590 (even though it's old it still has legs), or a newer card like a GTX 760 to boost cuda processing?

If there are any concerns what would they be, i am unsure of compatibility of that setup in my system. Will i be running any risks of damaging any other piece of hardware, provided the add-in GPU is functioning properly?

If i failed to explain anything well please let me know.

Thanks

Stephen
