Hi I'm alittle new to forums but I have been watching linus for awhile. I just wanted to know if the parts I picked for my new build is good enough for 4k gaming at 60fps or 1080 at 60fps or greater. I'm planning on doing a bit or streaming, gaming, coding and several graphic stuff (autocad, sony vegas, after effects and photoshop). Also should I get the asus extreme instead of the deluxe?

Ps: I might also want to try doing a custom loop so if anyone have any tip or parts list for the custom loop can you please suggest it

You already have a GTX 970, and a 4690K. You can always upgrade you know.

I'm sorry, I can't help you in that, as I am just starting to get into watercooling. All i can say is, you need a radiator, a pump, a reservoir, and a CPU/GPU block. EKWB makes good watercooling parts.

If you are doing 1080p 6 cores is way overkill i7 4790k is enough, also 16 gb of ram is enough

i was planning on having it overkill at the start since I already have 2 standard builds and wanted to got all out with the new one, making it into a table mod also. I just basically wanted to know if the specs were good enough because I still consider myself a beginner at part picking...

The motherboard is perhaps unnecessary, you could easily get away with a $200 board with less features but nothing that you would likely notice

Which board would you recommend? I'm also trying to fit a black and white theme
