Can i use a windows 8 disk again?

Windows 10 is coming out soon. Ive been using the technical preview since day 1, and I just found out that I wont be able to get the full release from the technical preview. Since windows 8 users are getting a free upgrade, i thought i could reinstall windows 8, except i have used the product key once... Can i use it again? It was a standard copy

Why couldn't you use it? It is "tied" to your system, so you can re-install it any time :) I even re-installed, when I changed my motherboard and CPU, it needed just re-activating, I was done in 5 minutes on Microsoft hotline :)

Some say, that OEM are one use only, but I didn't have problems with mine, and I re-activated 3 times already,so... ;)

Pretty sure OEM keys can be used as many times as needed, as long as its on the same mobo.

Pretty sure OEM keys can be used as many times as needed, as long as its on the same mobo.

I just wrote, what has been told here on LTT a couple times :) I myself have had no problems with it ;)
