I had one last question before I purchase all my parts and sell my computer.

Is this processor going to be a bottleneck for the graphics card?

         CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($286.90 @ DirectCanada)

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX Video Card  ($629.99 @ NCIX)

And, any other issues you see with the build?

Not in Canada it is.

Got it I edited my post then saw yours. Why xpg v1? You could get v2

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.

In some games, notably GTA V there will be a noticeable bottleneck.

Screenshot I took while playing playing, CPU Info on the right monitor. I'm postinga link instead of imbedding since it's over 7000 pixels wide. http://puu.sh/iaHcq/e3427c6a6b.jpg

Might look into getting the i7, or just go for a 970 card instead.

For reference I'm running a 290 which is a little worse than a 970.

Because v2 costs an extra 10% for no real gain.

No but don't buy the strix please.

I'll take a look at that power supply. :)

What's wrong with the strix?

Can anyone explain to me why the Strix would be a bad choice?

On top of reported coil whine issues, the cooler and power delivery (VRMs) on the STRIX are nothing special. Don't expect amazing overclocks on it.

I just watched a video, holy hell. For the extra $20 I will go with the msi twin frozr. Thank you!

Twin Frozr V is better but still nothing special.

Definitely go for the Gigabyte G1, best 980 for the money tbh http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn970g1gaming4gd

That PSU is overpriced tbh, and is not that great of a choice unless you need a fully-modular PSU that's really short (SFF builds).
