So I have 3100 us dollars to spend on a new computer just for gaming so no editing. This is it. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mullen/saved/xXgH99. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks

i know a way to improve your build, get 2 980 ti's 650 usd each, and switch the montior for something that is better and actually even cheaper, ill link http://www.amazon.com/PB287Q-28-Inch-Screen-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00KJGY3TO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433388315&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+4k+monitor

EDIT: also please take off that cpu cooler, you dont even need watercooling, all it does is add noise and for 4790k is not needed, you can go for coolermaster hyper 212 evo, or if you really want watercooling, nzxt kraken x61

1. Get a different cooler

2. Get SLI 980ti

3. Get a cheaper monitor

4. You can do fine with 8GB of RAM right now for just gaming

Build is tasty other than that

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VnyzdCBam. Also don't worry about the less VRAM. You won't find yourself using it. No more the. 4.5 Max settings.

I agree Kindda like my build except for the 8gb part. GTA V for example, with chrome watching YouTube browsing a forumn and playing it pretty much maxxed out 8gbs on my buddies PC. GTA was running slow as ever and he got 16gb and fixed pretty much everything.

Won't the less amount of vram not matter because when directx 12 comses out it will be able to combine vram?

Yours Sincerely,

Yes and no, I don't think it's been proven anywhere that it will. Still on a single display 4k 4gbs is the max you'd use... Also for the 980ti if you wanna spend like another $50-$100 you can get a 980ti with a Aftermarket cooler and backplate from EVGA but blower style will probably be better for overclocks in SLI. Only thing is do is get a different mouse unless you've had hands on experience. Go up to a local store even if it's bestbuy to get a feel of mouses. Keyboards once you like a key cap it doesn't really matter online or not. Also I'd make it a 850w, make sure it's seasonic or if it's EVGA anything G1 or G2,, says that on the box in pictures is also good. ( G2 or G1 just means SuperFlower made the internals, longer life span ect)
