I have a friend who upgraded to a GTX 960 and had nothing better to do with his old GTX 760 so he's going to give it to me. I know how to put it into my PC, but what I'm unsure about is what happens after that?

I know that he received a disc with his new card so he could install drivers and whatnot, but his computer was pre-built, so he doesn't have the disc that would come with the 760. I don't know what I'm able to do without this.

Any help would be appreciated!

download nvidia driver via Nvidia's website, uninstall the old drivers for what ever graphic card you had, then put the new one in and install the drivers you just downloaded and enjoy.

So what if the driver I already have is an nvidia driver?

like on geforce experience it says my installed driver is: GeForce 340.52 Driver

Do I have to uninstall that?

Or I were to get the current newest driver for nvidia would that just work for both GPU's?

Your friend will have to uninstall the drivers and install the current nvidia drivers so the 960 will work.   However, for you if you are currently running the GeForce 340.52 drivers you can run the 760 without uninstalling anything.  Yes if you were to just get the newest drivers from nvidia they will work with both cards.
