Then look at the original budget, then look at all the other compromises just to fit a 980Ti in there with a reason given of "Because" and you'll get his point.

Reminds me of that clown who bought a Titan X for a 1024 monitor, and his PSU couldn't power it, it kept black screening whenever he played a game. But at least he has a Titan X right?

No but building a whole new PC with a 980Ti and a 1080p monitor indicates the priorities are wrong.

Then look at the original budget, then look at all the other compromises just to fit a 980Ti in there with a reason given of "Because" and you'll get his point.

Reminds me of that clown who bought a Titan X for a 1024 monitor, and his PSU couldn't power it, it kept black screening whenever he played a game. But at least he has a Titan X right?

My suggested build isn't too bad. 2.5K ultrawide with a 980Ti, 4690K, and solid 750W PSU.

Chipset needs to be updated to work with that CPU. Trash SSD, you are better off with a regular HDD and low quality PSU. These are the things that need to be changed, as well as the monitor to a 1440p, if you are getting a 980ti only for 1080p you might as well get a 970 and max out every game for half the price.
