New Guitar?

Guest Philosophy

I have a early 90s, Fender Made in Korea Acoustic, It needs re-fretted and a neck adjustment. I was thinking since it was my first guitar ever 5 years ago, it might be time for an upgrade.

I am choosing between (Leave a comment if you got something better please!):

Gibson J-45

or

Rainsong Concert Series CO

I have much of everything... I am professional one could say. Been on a few albums. Never my own. I just don't have a good acoustic right now...

to be honest, go out and try both of them, on and off the amp if possible. its pretty much the only way to tell what you like and what you want.

and for your old guitar, if it plays well and you really like it, id consider getting it fixed. I own a 7-8 years old Cort g serie (left handed) that I bought for 400$ at the time. iv just gotten it fixed for about 250$. and to be honest, its better than ever. feels and sounds much better than my SG from Gibson.

I have tried both exstensivley, love them both. That is why i am asking here because I'd honestly be happy with both. I am going to get my old guitar fixed, but for even semi professional work It just dons't stack up.

then id go with the electroacoustic. as its more versatile.

Well , since I dont like acoustic's guitars (only nylon guitars as far as acoustic goes and I only play that when I got my electric at the studio ) i played this beauty : http://www.thomann.de/gb/takamine_limited_2015_rengeso.htm

And HOLY SHIT it feels good / sounds amazing . But as I said I dont like acoustic guitars. Better go to the store and try them out :P
