Logitech Gaming Software issues with WIndows 8.1

So, rather simply, I am having issues with LGS. I can find, download and install the software from Logitech's site but after I install it, my keyboard starts lagging on key presses and the software's UI won't open. One second, I press a key, and the next second the character is recorded. The install of Windows is clean, and the only other things installed are Skype, GTA V, NVIDIA drivers and Chrome. This has happened in the past, but I could never figure out the issue. However, I really want to use the software to change macros and such. I also plan on buying the Orion Spark in a month or so, so I really wouldn't want to have to deal with this issue after spending almost $200 on a keyboard out of all things. Anyone know how I can get it to work? I have tried installing and running as Admin so that isn't it. Maybe a legacy version of the software?

really wierd, i have no problem with LGS and my G502... maybe it's just a keyboard thing. have you installed the newest drivers?

Yes (that being LGS), and they're exactly the problem.

 

Try using logitech wingman instead.

I'm pretty sure there's no version of WingMan that works above XP, but if you get me a link I'll give it a shot.

I was able to use wingman with my laptop on 8.1 give me a sec and I will grab the link (The XP version may just run aswell :P)

Sadly, it's basically useless to me.
