Hello, so today my computer has packed up for good, after 4 good years of service, and I am looking to reside to a laptop, for space issues.

My budget is between 500-700 Pounds, and I have a few things that I would need the laptop to be able to do.

  • I preferably want something that is aesthetically pleasing, and could be transported fairly easily, (Again, doesn't have to be ultra light, but not big and bulky.)
  •  I would want the laptop to be able to play games such as CS:GO, (Doesnt need to be run on ultra settings, just something that would be able to play the game without any lag.)
  • Preferably a 15 inch screen, but smaller isn't a very big issue.

Thanks in advance for any help on this topic, and I look forward to seeing your suggestions!

After doing some research, the Y40 and the Y50 models only seem to be available in the US, so would not be applicable to me.

Is there any alternative to this that is UK based?

Hi, have you considered Eurocom or one of the other Clevo/Sager re-sellers?

I'm not sure if they (Eurocom, specifically) have a UK office, but I know they ship there. The budget may be kind of tight, but you can check out the Skark 4 from Eurocom, seems to have everything you want. Or you can see if one of the Clevo-based machines from XoticPC appeals to you, and maybe you can find a retailer that is based in Europe/UK that can ship more cheaply to you.
