Fans speeding up

My fans are speeding up without having any program open, im in the desktop doing nothing and they increase their speed for 3 seconds and then lowering it again. Whats the problem? How can i fix it?

 

Mobo: Gigabyte UD4 x99 BIOS: F12

What are your CPU temps?

do you have a temperature from the time that it happened, what did you do before and what are your other specs?

Does the "smart fan" from gigabyte sofrware utility have to do something with it? Because the cpu (i7 5820k) frequency goes up and down and maybe that tells the fan to speed up?

yup, make a fan curve or go to bios and put on slient.
