Designed to heat your entire house on a cold winter day, and provide decent performance as well.

May consume more power than your average heater.

Could I do anything to make this hotter?

Is it getting warm in here?

The performance graph is off the charts! Oh, no, that's the temperature.

I'll stop my puns now.

Probably should be in Offtopic -I know its tech, but people may think you GENUINELY want help by making this thread in the BUILDs section.

Still.....that build is HAWT.

But..

Unable to verify the Thermaltake VL80001W2Z ATX Mid Tower Case has sufficient space to fit the VisionTek Radeon R9 290X 4GB Video Card.

Solution - PCIE extension riser cables, bring all the 290x's out of the case if there is no room...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

To get hotter:

A. Add more hard drives

B. Led strips: LOTS of them

C. Fold with those cards!

You can go up to 2 295x2s cause they already have 2 GPUs inside. :P

EDIT: Each

But those are watercooled

not enough expansion slots. that only has 7 and you have 4 double slot cards

But those are watercooled

That's the point. Having it be watercooled means it can more efficiently transfer heat into the room, and you can overclock it more to get MOAR HEAT.

If I had the money, I'd have this system just as a means to heat my rooms. Have them folding whenever I want to heat the house.

I don't do signatures.

But water has a higher heat capacity than air, therefore the water will retain more heat than the air.

thats why i didnt cool the CPU

That's the point... using water to move the heat away from the GPUs will transfer more heat from the GPUs than air. The heat is still going right back into the air; you'll just have more headroom to make more heat because you won't be hitting any thermal limits.

But the water will retain more heat, i would be better off mounting thw whole thing to my wall and not using a case.

I would hope it retains more heat, If it didn't, we'd have to re-evaluate our knowledge of physics. That's the point of watercooling. The radiator can then do a much better job of dissipating the heat into the air compared to a heatsink, so you can add more heat to the system.

Just because the heat pipes and core are hotter with air cooling doesn't mean there is somehow more energy in the system.

I am not trying to increase the ammount of total energy in the system, simply the internal enthalpy. I have done everything i can do to do this without decreasing the entropy of the system, which would render it unusable.

Oh... I thought the point was to make the system pump out as much heat as possible, not to have it "run hot" lol. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding! To make it up to you, you get one free like for the post I quoted  :P.

M8, you can add as many gpus as you want. But for CFX or SLI, 4 is max

Also Titan X will be hotterr

Would it though, would it really?

also, i am almost at 1600 watts, i cant go much higher.
