Case fans? Idk about you guys when I game I've my fans set to max power! I can't hear em even with open back headphones.

The better question is are your temperatures normal. Your fans theoretically correlate with how hot your computer is.

Well, you've a G1 Gaming GTX 970. So yes, it is normal to sound like a jet turbine under load. The 3 fans on the Windforce cooler are quite small, whch means they have to run at a pretty high speed.

My two G1 980s sound like a F18 Super Hornet when I start my PC.

No air cooled GPU on this planet is dead silent under load. They're all loud.

You definitely haven't heard my Fermi card if you think yours is a jet turbine.

My case is high airflow and is in a really cold area so the fans on the gpu barely spin.
