Will This psu run a GTX 690

860i Will be fine even if you are running Socket 2011 as well. Also you will be fine because the new ax power supplies are so efficient (80+ Platinum). Just as a thought if you are a person for aesthetics then you should get the braided cables from corsair. Those are cool.

Yeah and does it not come with braided cables already? are they the usual stock multi coloured ones :/? Ive seen the after market corsair single braided cables would I be better off going with them and not using the ones that come with the psu? Thanks for your feed back btw :)

The Corsair AX cables to my knowledge are not compatible with AXi PSU's.
