I like Screenflow a lot. It offers editing as well. http://www.telestream.net/screenflow/ , but you have to pay for it.

If you don't want to spend anything, Quicktime offers a recording feature, but it isn't the best. And I think quicktimes recording is the only free one.

I was wondering if there is any good capturing software, such as fraps, for the mac that is free.

If you were one of those mac guys i would currently say. Isnt that what you bought a mac for?I thought pc's never had editing software or any thing like that?

 

But if you arnt one of those mac guys id say hopefully some one here can help ;)

oh yeah, I forgot about quicktime, thanks!
