Hey guys

going to build an ITX media serer with upto 4 3.5"drives and no discrete GPU

I was thinking as i have a piece of acrylic i could mount the pc onto it

the problem i can forsee if the dust filters as the pc would be open to the elements

does anyone think this i a good idea or am i being stupid??

You could do an open design. You will just have to clean it more often to avoid dust buildup in heatsinks.

sounds like fun, untill you crack the acrylick :P dust is fine if you just cleen it regularly like 1 time a month

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

If i used an sfx psu and a 3 5.25 to 4 3.5" adapter it wouldn't take too long

I will come up with some quick concept, any recommendation for hot swap bays?
