Problem with homescreen apps

I've attached some screenshots showing my problem. Ever since I upgraded my HTC One m8 to android lollipop I've had this problem.

 

Everytime I turn off my phone and turn it back on the next day some apps off of my homescreen disappear. On my primary homescreen you can see that the Remote Mouse app and some apps from my 'film' folder get taken away after a restart. As for my second homescreen app my 'utility' folder, for which I put apps I deem as tools, has the majority of apps in that folder removed from my homescreen after a reboot.

 

Note: The apps are not removed from my phone they are merely removed from the homescreen.

 

Someone please help because it is extremely fustrating considering I use these apps so often.
