I have a 64TB NAS that uses FreeNAS to store data from my home computers.  I have two PCs connected to the network via Ethernet and 4 connected via WiFi.  How should I setup my NAS so all my computers cam access it?  I'd really like to see an As Fast As Possible on NAS and server setups, like the one in the new office and the setup in the house.

Hey VijayAT123 and welcome to the community :)

You should connect the NAS to the router to which all other devices are connected. Usually the OS has a guide on how to set it up in order to be visible for other devices on the same network. Here's something that popped up on the internet that might be helpful: http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/

An "As Fast As Possible" would be exactly what you just said.

Have a central data store

Connect your computers by wifi or ethernet to the network

Configure the NAS to share to the computers.

The problem is, there are so many OS's and NAS Interfaces, it would be like an hour long video to cover them all for 'basic setup'

What you need to know for FreeNAS and for Windows sharing, is how to setup a Samba (SMB) share via CIFS.

If you have a network that you often have Guests on, then you also might want to think about advanced access permissions to the share.
