pc turn off when playing games!

Go to solution Solved by Husky,

tried the different outlet and it worked.

Problem Solved! :)

When playing games my computer will reboot sometimes straight away sometimes in five to ten minutes. It also reboots when I turn on my air conditioner, but only when playing games or doing something intensive, I’ve done this multiple times.

I have had a look at the pc temps when different games are open and they look fine to me. So I guess this is a pus problem?

I don’t remember all the spec from the top of my head, but its something like this

I7 2600k not overclocked

GTX 670

500W bronze power supply

Thank You

It is might be something to do with the power delivery from your house to your computer. Check to see if the outlet or the plug is dirty or rusty. Is the air conditioner plugged into the same outlet as your PC?

“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

The PC either isn't getting enough power or your PSU is dying. Are you sure your temps are fine? Your CPU should not go over 80C and GPU should also not go over 80C.

OK, So try plugging it in to a different outlet and if that doesn't work then get a new PSU.
