HELLO

I am in need of a bit of help...

I need a gaming / workstation build but i don't know what to buy!

I play games such as GTA V MineCraft and BattleField at 1080p

I intend to run GTA at 60 FPS at the highest settings or close to them.

I render HD video and i create high resolution images in Cinema 4D.

The only trouble is my budget. I only have £600 to £700 ($917 to $1070) that is the MAX.

Please could you make me a build that you think would suit my needs on pc part picker and reply to this thread with a link to the build you make made, I will not be needing a monitor or a mouse or keyboard or windows!

Many many many thanks ~Will

I AM THE SMALL PC BUILDING GAMING CHILD

I don't have any experience with Xeon chips from Intel, so this was the best I could come up with.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($229.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! PURE ROCK 87.0 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($29.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($139.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card  ($237.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $999.79
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I had a surprisingly rough time coming in at that budget. I had originally wanted to give you 16GB of RAM, especially for working in CINEMA 4D. However, to do that you wouldn't get an aftermarket heatsink. If you wanted both, you wouldn't get a GPU capable of GTA V at 1080p60. All-in-all, this is what I managed to come up with.

Edit: Noting your budget being $70 more than this, you could actually swap that kit of RAM out for 16GB like I'd intended, or even get a new cooler.

I'm sorry to disapoint you but you will not be able to max out Gta V on you budget. (My 970 SLI Can almost max it out, almost) but the builds above seams solid. I would save up some more and get a R9 290 or 290X

But why 2 CPU coolers?

One is for the GPU and one is for the CPU(cus the intel looks horrible) :)

The gpu will use the Hydro Series™ HG10 A1 GPU Liquid Cooling Bracket + Corsair H55 so you run it quiet and hell looks cool. Plus you can overclock more.

There's no point farting around with LEDs and AIO coolers for the GPU

You want to get the max performance you can get for this budget, otherwise you spend money on stuff you don't really need

There's no point farting around with LEDs and AIO coolers for the GPU

You want to get the max performance you can get for this budget, otherwise you spend money on stuff you don't really need
