Worst processor out there. Seriously, if you have a budget of just $30 for a CPU I wouldn't build a PC...

 

Just look at that price tag. Do you think a $30 CPU is going to be any good?

if you want a decent but inexpensive AMD quad core - A8. Comes with it's own graphics too. good enough to run most things on the low-mid range gaming spectrum and has a nice overclock headroom as long as you can deal with the fact that it might aswell be molten lava when it comes to cooling.

That A8 @4.4GHz tho

i've nudged it to 4.8 before but cooling was not happy since I can only fit a 92mm in this case, my new case has dual rad support, nepton 240m will be going in there and the A8 is going to get one hell of a beating

If you want a real cheap CPU, look at Core 2 Duos/Quads
