Whilst this machine will be able to run wither 3 at a decent level, It will certainly not be optimal for other multi threaded tasks, because it only has 2 cores. And if you live in a country with warm summers (above 20 degrees) you would also need a better cpu cooler than Intel's stock cooler. Lastly i would also note that if you are ever going to upgrade your system, you would need to pay attention to the power usage, since 350 watts ain't a lot.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Thats a really nice build, with a focus on GPU over CPU (es for budget gaming)

Throw an i3/i5+SSD when you can afford it (your next upgrade maybe) and then your ACE.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

350watt powersupply will not be enough. Will not run WItcher 3. It requires a quad core i5 on Intel side for minimum and a 660 which I guess is somewhat similar to a 750ti. You would need to up your budget for what you want or the game will either not run or you will have to scrape the barrel for a decent framerate

System requirements:

  • MINIMUM:
    • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
    • Processor: Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz / AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
    • Memory: 6 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660 / AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870
    • Hard Drive: 35 GB available space
  • RECOMMENDED:
    • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
    • Processor: Intel CPU Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz / AMD CPU AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 770 / AMD GPU Radeon R9 290
    • Hard Drive: 35 GB available space

An i3 runs the witcher 3 amazingly and it is hyperthreaded. Also stock cooling is more than enough for the core i3.

Get an i3 4130 and an h81 board motherboard instead and with the money saved get a better graphics card.
