gpu for slin case with 240w power supply

err95

i just bought a cheap old hp dc7900. i bought it because i liked that it runs a dual core processor i have experience with and i figured i could slap a graphics car in it and use it as a simply little stream/ home theater machine. nothing too extreme.

after some research i have been leaning towards this gpu:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500276

however i have heard some hps are not capable of using their 16x slot in this way and i would need to use the 1x slot on the motherboard

does anyone know what the case is with this particular hp

this is what I use in my HTPC and it's pretty great, tops out at 80C, which is safe, in a almost fanless case. it's passive which makes the system dead silent
