Upgrading RAM in old PC

Go to solution Solved by lightningterror,

Get a matching pair 2x4gb

What you need to know is:

1. The maximum capacity that your motherboard support

2. What speed does the motherboard and cpu support

Hi

In the current PC there are two sticks of 2 GB RAM so 4 GB in total, but I would like to upgrade to 8 GB.

Now the problem is, what kind of RAM should i buy? The RAM currently installed is Kingston 9905403-083. A00LF, and i haven't been able to find anywhere to buy this kind of RAM.

Can i use these RAM with some new ones (if yes, what kind?), or should I buy some completely new ones?

Just buy the cheapest 2x4 Ram kit you can find. The speeds don't make a difference.
