Shadow Storage Size

I have 2 1 TB Hard Drives (Not in Raid), one of which is my C:/ Drive and one my secondary Storage Drive (D:/). My Storage Drive current has a Shadow Storage Size of 300GB (Which I feel is excessive as I cannot use that reserved space) where as my C:/ Drive has only 10 GB of Reserved Shadow Storage. I am going to resize them but I am unsure of what to resize them as. My C:/ is literally only OS, a few Programs and my Documents (Around 100GB used atm) , where are my D:/ Drive has my Steam Library (170GB currently) and a few Documents from before I upgraded to Win8. Suggestions on the Shadow Storage Size would be much appreciated.

The default shadow storage size is ridiculous (especially when you have a SSD), I usually drop mine to ~20GB and only on my OS drive, even your 10GBs probably fine.
