I want to use this in my new car but I have no idea how if I can hook this through the previous radio power.

I'm not overly familiar with aftermarket car amps but don't they take 12V from the battery.

But is the battery power output for the radio the same for this.

I think headunits also get 12V from the battery trough the wiring harness.

But I don't think they have a wire ready for amplifiers.

I gave up so I am just gonna move the radio behind the console but off to the side so it can still be accessed. And then buy an MGB GT radio blank, that would look nice.

I just checked Amazon.com for customer questions and answers. It IS meant to connect to a 12V source, which is perfect for cars. There should be a wire harness that comes with it. Red connects to positive power, black to ground, orange to remote (remote turns the unit on when you turn your car key).
