My first pc build

Hey guys this is my first build and I would like an opinion for it Im going to use it for gaming and my budget is around 450 US dolllars or 520 euros(I live in Romania)

cpu-AMD Athlon X4 860k black edition

Motherboard-Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM

GPU-Sapphire Radeon R7 260x(2GB GDDR5)

Hard Disk-WD Blue SATA III 7200 RPM-64MB

RAM-ADATA XPG V1.0 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Dual channel

PSU-Sirtec High power element(80+ bronze)

Im going to choose my case later

Get the pentium G3258 instead. 

 

And I don't know if you can get a R9 270X instead of a 260X for your budget ? 

 

And please change the PSU for a Corsair or Seasonic.

I would personally be a bit concerned that that PSU is so sketchy that trusted retailers don't even sell it (no listings for it on amazon, newegg, NCIX, etc. after a google search).

Agree with the PSU choice.  EVGA supernova's are also quite nice.

You are not going to get the best build for 450 USD.

I would reccomend saving to about 600 USD, then buying used. For my first low budget builds, they were all used parts.

But you need to OC the G3258 to have these performance, if you don't want to OC the Athlon could be a good option. 

 

And yes with a Corsair CX430M you should be alright.

In this case go with the Athlon, but are you able to get a 270X instead of a 260X ?

Im afraid not I was able to find it only from some shady sellers I would rather go with the 260x for now

Dont get the pentium. Its a 2core cpu... and GTA V sutters like crazy on it, something you wont see on fps meters.

 

 

The athlon has 4 actual cores. And even for single threaded games it will perform the same as an overclocked pentium if you game on anything higher than 1080p. Or 97% as good if @ 1080p.

 

People who say there are differences get their information from 800x600 resolution CPU benchmarks where the overclocked intel gets 500fps and the athlon can only manage 400fps for a single threaded synthetic 3d benchmark.
