Did you mess with any RAM, GPU or CPU clockspeeds in the past little bit? Mainly RAM?

Once could be a fluke, could just be the game. Monitor your system closely and if it happens again or something else pops up then you've got a problem.

Do you OC anything? What PSU are you using?

Edit: gah mobile sucks. Anyways according to your profile you've got your 970 OC'd, so if it happens again then that's the likely culprit.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

ok then will do and the overclock on the 970 on my profile is my max overclock i dont run that 24/7 i run a small overclock most of the time and i have a corsair RM 850w Gold psu which i know is good because i use to run 2 amd R9 280x's on it so yeah. ill keep ya updated if it happens again but im guessing its either GTA or a power drupe in the house.
