Best budget gaming headset with a removeable cord?

Budget is $100 AUD.

Must it be a headset or just headphones? I was leaning towards the Sennheiser HD439 myself for example, as I don't need a mic :)

Yup. OP you can always buy seperate mic.

Why the need for a removeable cord if I may ask? Do you travel a lot and afraid of breaking it or other reasons?

 afraid of breaking the cord and then im screwed. :/
