The reason i choose gtx 660 is because my friend is going to give me one for 50 bucks.

2 concerns I have in my build so far:

 

1. is the i7 processor going to bottleneck the gpu, should i just downgrade to i5 4690k

 

2. should i get a wireless adapter or just buy a 75 ft ethernet cable to hook up to router

The i7 seems out of place for your build. i5 will be more than enough for almost any game. Don't worry about bottlenecking.

 

Cable is always better, if possible.

The 4790k will never bottleneck the 660 and it's better then the 4690k. But i rather get a 4690k or a 4460 and spend the extra money on a better gpu like a 280x. The 660 is okay it's not great but it will do the job.
