OnePlus to make an announcement on June 1st

Does it support Verizon frequencies though?

According to Google, Verison runs through both 850/1900 and according to phone arena the OnePlus One supports.

GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz

UMTS: 850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz

Oneplus devices have always been unlocked, they are not carrier locked and therefore could always be used without a contract to a specific carrier. Thats why there is no AT&T/Verizon logo on the back of the device.

Most phones you'll see on here are fully unlocked. I have yet to see a phone that is carrier exclusive. So yeah, you can buy a OnePlus One right now and it will work with Verizon.

I can confirm that the OnePlus One WILL NOT work with Verizon. Only a few unlocked phones will work with Verizon or Sprint since they do not use SIM cards.

Those are GSM frequencies though. Verizon uses CDMA.

I agree, which is why I quit my service with them after only about a week and switched to AT&T.

Call them up and ask. They will give you a definite answer of what's what. And if you go out and buy the phone and it doesn't work? Go through someone else. I run through AT&T's $25 GoPhone plan which where I live AT&T has the best coverage. Plus it's only $45 a month for unlimited everything if I wanted to switch to Straight Talk that also runs through AT&T lines. If you're not locked into a plan I would look around at coverage and see who has the best with the best deal.
