[Finished] Thoughts on the Components i have Picked.

Here is the List

 

- FX 8350 

- GTX 660 [non ti] SLI

- Bitfenix Merc Beta with 4 SP120 Corsair Fans [Total of 5 Fans cooling my PC]

- BeQuiet DARK ROCK Heatsink

- MSI 990XA-GD55 ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard

- XFX 750W 80 Plus Bronze PSU

- Patriot VIPER 3 2133Mhz 2x4GB RAM [The 1600Mhz actually costs more so its a good deal]

- Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB 32 MB CACHE

Why not get a single more powerful gpu?

The ram depends. Is the cheapest CL9 1600 ram cheaper? If so, get it.

The psu is overkill. A 650w would be sufficient for sli.

 

Get a single 7970/770 instead.

Get a 7850 instead of the 660 if you must get 2 cards. Much cheaper and better performance.

Its not that i need too. I just really would like a 2 Card Setup you know ;D...i will change them to 7850 instead then.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with SLI.

However, the GTX 660 right now is not a good buy unless you either already have them or were thinking about buying them second hand. Looking around they are selling for around £160 and the 760 can be had for only around £35 more per card (see here)

Which for the extra £70-£80 will offer Titan trumping performance.

Edit. Two of course. Also. Don't get the 8350 get the 8320. Put that extra money toward the GPUs.

You mean two? you might as well go down the garden and burn the money.

Edit. Also this. AMD only officially support 1866 memory on AM3+ and getting anything to go faster than that is very hit and miss.

Cut back the ram to 1600mhz to save yourself even more money for better GPUs.

I recommend Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz.
