The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community that develops open standards to ensure the long-term growth of the Web.

Basically the folks behind the standards of  HTML, xml, css, JS, HTML5 and such...

If you want to know how to do it right, this is where to go.

personally i used http://www.w3schools.com/

The best thing is to just get a basic understanding and try to make something, and after you learn something apply it by making a website with those skills you just learned.

If you get stuck or there's something you need help with resort to Google and forums. That's what i did.

The hardest part is the start, and motivation.

Just go to any site and start reading and writing.

Good luck! :)
