For my build I am going to use a 230t, and I want to 2 140mm add fans on top. But my question is should they bring air in, or pull air out? I've been thinking about having them bring air in from the top, as the cpu cooler will be right there and could benefit from the extra cooling, and well as it will bring down fresh air into the case while being pulled out the back. I think the back on is a 120mm, which I am going to replace with a red led fan.

I'd have the two front fans and single rear fan intake, and the two top fans exhaust. You get both the benefits of heat naturally rising, as well as positive internal air pressure.

I was worried is that back top rear fan would be useless as it would have the air sucked straight up.

I just think that bring in air from the top across the cooler, motherboard, and the back of the graphics card would be nice. And possibly getting some air to the PSU, which I will be facing the fan up so I still can get ariflow. You know what, I could try both ways, it's not that difficult to flip the fans around.

I would probably make front and back intakes, and orient the CPU cooler to suck from the back too, so these two fans will work together.

The 2 140mm fans in the top would be some great exhausts.

I think this is the most optimal setup, just like Aniallation suggested.

When in doubt: C4

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, it would blow straight onto the cpu cooler and the cpu fan so, I guess the front will bring in air to the bottom of the case.

I don't know if I could fit a 140mm fan on the back but we will see.

nice,

only a 120mm fan in the back though due to motherboard IO
