Locked i5, possibly a cheaper case, otherwise nothing evidently strikes out at me.

I don't know what all you'll be playing (or how CPU dependent minecraft is) but you could save some large bits of money going with a PentK or Athlon 860K rig in terms of gaming, never streamed before so that's a unknown for me.

Do not  as I  do, and  not  as I say. Instead do as you may..

If he wants to do streaming then the FX8350 is a very good choice.

I would get something like this instead, it's a little over budget but the 4690k has much better gaming performance then 8350 and also has the capability of being overclocked in the future for more performance if needed. Minecraft is badly optimized and won't use all 8 cores well, so even though the 4690k has less cores it will still give better performance.

Streaming games on 4 cores=dropped frames

If he wants to do streaming then the FX8350 is a very good choice.

I have heard AMDs 8cores do fairly well in that category, I've no experience with them beyond GPUs and their 860K however.

Do not  as I  do, and  not  as I say. Instead do as you may..

Minecraft is badly optimized and won't use all 8 cores well, so even though the 4690k has less cores it will still give better performance.

If you run the optifine mod it will use every core to it's full potential I ran it on a quad core and saw 200% increase in frame rate.

any advise on everything else im going to keep the cpu, case and gpu so if theres any way that i can lower the price that be good

I've got nothing beyond what I posted above, if you can I'd at least jump to that 280 (It's 10/20 more?) the Evexir RAM is basically the cheapest 8GB kit I could find, CPU should be fine for what you want (fortunate since you wont change it) not much else you can change that will meaningfully effect the price beyond those though.

All i say is Intel iGPU and OBS.

All I say is that multi tasking benefits from AMD over Intel.

Ok you must be right, everyone knows that AMD cpus are so amazing.

I know that AMD cpus generally suck but for a budget video editing/streaming machine you would have to buy a more expensive I7 to get similar performance in multi core programmes.
