I have an old mobo 775 its a http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2960#ov    P43-ES3G

It supports up to 16gb for ram not bad for an old mobo.  However 4gb sticks in ddr2 are very expensive.

While browsing i found a cheap memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA3962VR3874  It says its a DDR2-pc2-6400 which is only compatible with AMD because of some high density stuff.

However my mobo its compatible with DDR2-pc2-6400.

I am not sure i know the difference between high and low density but how can i know if my mobo will run it cause it doesnt say anywhere if i can or cannot.

I don't think it'll make a difference, if your board is compatible with DDR2 then I can't see a reason to why it wouldn't work.
