Why would this only work when wired?

So I am using air stream to stream media from my pc to my phone but the app cant connect to my pc when its on wireless. When my PC is connected to my router via a wire it works just fine but when it's wireless it doesn't work. I checked to make sure its not a IP issue and I looked in my router settings and nothing stuck out as incorrect so I'm not sure.
