Which CPU Gets Better Performance In Streaming?

Go to solution Solved by SageC,

So you are going with the 4770k?

The 4770K is just the older version of the 4790K, the 4790K has everything the old one did plus a bit more performance.

4790k might be slightly better, although not by much. (probably not even a noticeable difference).

Unless you can get a really good deal on it there isn't much of a point in going with the 4770K any more.

The 4790k is an improved 4770k.

The 4770K and 4790K are the same CPU except the 4790K has slightly higher clock speed (so it's a bit faster) and lower temps. So if the 4770K is a good amount cheaper, it will perform almost as well. But the 4790K is basically just a better version of the 4770K.

Intel i5-4690K @ 3.8GHz || Gigabyte Z97X-SLI || 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600MHz || Asus GTX 760 2GB @ 1150 / 6400 || 128GB A-Data SX900 + 1TB Toshiba 7200RPM || Corsair RM650 || Fractal 3500W
