Astro A40s

Lamb

Are Astro A40s worth $150? I know there is probably a "better" pair of headphones for the price, but the Astros are so nice!  :P I just really love the speaker tags, and apparently they are really comfortable. If they are a really bad value, then I won't buy them. Keep in mind I have Beats Solo headphones at the moment, so anything is an upgrade.

I have them from console gaming days, theyre okay quality (imo)

I found the mixamp useful (having an external volume control) - i used to have skype audio going into the controller port so i could balance sound.

The headset is comfortable and the tags are nice

However i am now looking for a "proper" pair of headphones now.

I forgot to mention but I would buy them without the mixamp just for PC.

audiotechnica ad700 or sennheiser hd558 are my typical recommendation for gaming.

slap a modmic or clip on mic and you're good to go.

Will work for electronic components and parts
