Hey guys! So, I don't know if that is the place to post this stuff, but a very close friend of mine started an indiegogo campaign, bacause he wants to make a YT channel and to do so he wants a good pc and a camera. Please don't say anything about how he should try doing everything himself and not ask for money but he is dead serious about this, and to be honest YouTubing suits him very well, since I know him as a person he will do well!

to start the youtube channel can't he just either go to the library or use his current computer (even though it might suck) 

 

He must have had access to a computer to post that indie go go campaign

First, your friend should have spell checked his picture. Also, we don't know what we would pay for, he hasn't provided any sample material. Does he have a nice voice? does he have a heavy accent? What games will he play? I doubt, he'll get any money from this. There are a lot of gaming channels on youtube , so building a big channel from nothing is extremely difficult at this point.

I have already told him all that. @sirtoby thanks. I told him to fix it. Do you know any way he can actually make something like that work. He can use my pc, which is quite better than his to make a video so that people can hear his voice, get to know him a bit, and i guess make it a bit more perosnal..(?) I don't know. He believes he can do it, I too as much as I love him, don't.

But If you have any tip for the acutal campaign to help it have any results at all, speak your mind.
