Steam downloading.

Ok so now i got everything working with my new pc and i got steam but when i started downloading a game it kept stopping doing so... i mean it was downloading 2 min and then it stopped another 2 min. 

A problem with your internet connection. What speeds you paying with your ISP?

I dont really know cause im not the one payin but anyway.. before i had this new pc i didnt had any problems.. 

How new is your pc? I just bought a new pc and my steam downloads work fine. I even upgraded the internet and it works fine. Are you able to find out who you ISP is? Might be a problem in the area. You could always try recycling the modem and wait 30 seconds then try Steam again.

Does it say disk being used? Cause it stops downloading onto external drives when that hdd is being used for something else. More info would help like your ISP speed, HDD space, what kinds of games. Are you playing a game while it's loading? (you might want to check the setting in steam that says "download while playing game")
