Hello my PC Masters! I am new here in the Realm of PC-land! :)

Anyway, I am in need of someone how can help my PC to reach it´s true potential! For may you see, I had a "conflict" with the seller where I bought the parts for my build and now I don´t

know what to do (please consider that this is my first experience with other than thinking that they are pre-made magic boxes made by the fairies of Dell or HP). So yeah I'm lost.

So can please someone explain me what kind of research do I have to do first to start my build? Where should I start and how can I get a good graphics card? And yes, at least I know how to somewhat build the thing.

The only thing that I know about my PC is that it has these parts:

CPU: AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor

Graphics card: XFX AMD Radeon HD 5450 2GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI PCI-Express Video Card ON-XFX1-DLX2

Motherboard: ASUS Micro ATX DDR3 2000 AMD AM3+ Motherboard M5A78L-M/USB3

Everything else, I'm in the dark.

So please fell free to share how crappy my PC is right now  and what are the best parts to build a great PC AROUND this scraps that I got (and a shiny case too). Also, my wallet isn't very big, so don't expect me to buy a Titan X. Please be gentle.

PC, live and prosper!!!

I have a 1TB HARD DRIVE SATA that I should replace first of all things. I mean, that hard drive was the root of all the rage with the seller. Also I have 4 GB of RAM (don't ask me about the brand) which I understand is pretty pathetic for an 8-core CPU. So it´s pretty limited.

A friend of mine recently told me to buy an SSD and a new HDD. But I don't know of how much space the SSD should be?

And I have Windows 8.1 (I know Win 7 is better for gaming, but a mate installed for me for free).

And no I can open the side panel to see the PSU, but supposing this is a mid-tower I think is a AT PSU.

By the way, thanks for replying.

AT PSU Doesn't tell me anything. I need the wattage. At this point. Build a new pc if you have the budget. Your gonna just end up paying like $300-$320 more for a whole new PC so misewell do kt
